The Donors Gallery was set up to display a sample selection of items donated with the hope of creating a sense of rootedness through the preservation of local heritage content and fulfilling the National Library´s function of being the national memory and repository of Singapore heritage materials in all formats. It is also hoped that more Singaporeans will be encouraged to donate their heritage collections to the National Library. These are significant because of their historical, social and research value. more information Mon- Sun: 10am – 9pm Closed during Public Holidays Access to Collections: All the items in the Gallery, except artifacts and paintings, can be searched through the National Library´s online catalogue. They are identified by the location code RCLOS. Those who wish to consult items from the collection can approach our staff at the Information Desk at Level 11 of the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library. The collection is to be used within the Library´s premises.
